About Aztec Minerals Corp.
Aztec Minerals Corp. is a Vancouver-based mineral exploration company focused on a growing oxide gold-silver in Southeastern Arizona, as well as an emerging porphyry gold discovery in Sonora, Mexico:
Tombstone Gold-Silver Project (85% JV Interest): Arizona, USA. Aztec is focused on drilling an expansion of extensive, shallow, oxide silver-gold mineralization below and around the past-producing Contention Pit and several historic underground mines. Deeper sulfide, silver-polymetallic CRD potential has been found in historic and current drilling. The project is located primarily on privately owned land and boasts excellent logistics including water, power and road access. The 1,639 acre (663 hectare) property is located on patented (33) and unpatented claims (73) in the heart of the historic Tombstone Silver-Gold Mining District.
Cervantes Porphyry Gold Project (100% Owned): Sonora, Mexico. Drilling at the California Zone has demonstrated a significant shallow bulk tonnage gold deposit at the top of a gold – copper porphyry system. Surface exploration has recently been completed and additional field work and step out drilling is being planned. The Cervantes project is located on a 3,649 hectare property (titled and under application) on a 10km structural trend with multiple, geologically similar gold exploration targets and is near infrastructure, within an active mining region.
Aztec’s shares trade on the TSX-V (symbol AZT) and on the OTCQB (symbol AZZTF).
